Make your Docs More Searchable – Add a Description

Google Docs added a new feature today! You can now add a description to your Docs. The description text will appear in the preview panel for you, your viewers, and your collaborators. The description text is also searchable and is a great way to add meta data to your images and videos.

Hi- I’d like to add a description to my google docs, but don’t have the third pane on the right-hand side in my google docs. How to access? Is it still a feature? Thanks in advance.
